Human neuron

A neuron is a cell of the nervous system that receives, processes, and transmits signals. Thanks to neurons, we can think, move, feel pain, recognise faces, and remember events. The size of a neuron's cell body usually ranges from 5 to 120-150 micrometres, depending on its type.
